The Micro 100 1/8" Shank Threading Tool is a high speed steel threading tool with a 60 degree threading insert. It has a 1/8" shank diameter and is designed for internal threading operations. The tool body is made of C2 grade high speed steel which provides good wear resistance. It comes with one DCMT 070204 threading insert made of C2 grade carbide for cutting 60 degree threads. The insert has TiAlN coating for increased tool life. The insert features a chipbreaker design to help break and evacuate chips. This is a high quality threading tool well suited for cutting internal threads in materials like steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard non-ferrous metals.
