The Micro 100 1/4" Shank Threading Tool is a high speed steel threading tool with a 1/4" shank diameter. It has a 60 degree threading point and can cut unified coarse, unified fine, and metric threads. The overall length is 3-1/2" and it has a 5/16" minor diameter. This threading tool is made in the USA out of C2 grade high speed steel for good wear resistance. It can machine a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, brass, bronze and plastics. The 1/4" shank allows it to be used in tool holders for lathes, screw machines, and CNC machines.
