The Micro 100 3/8" shank threading tool is a high speed steel insert style threading tool with a TiN coating for wear resistance. It has a 3/8" shank diameter and can cut unified thread sizes from 4-56 to 1"-8. The inserts are replaceable carbide inserts with a TiAlN coating for heat and wear resistance. The tool comes with one DCG432 insert which can cut right hand threads. Additional inserts are available for purchase to cut different thread sizes, left hand threads, and for replacement.
