The Micro 100 Threading Tool is a 3/8" shank threading tool with a 60 degree threading insert. It has a 0.625" maximum depth of thread and can cut unified screw threads from 4-56 to 1"-8. The tool body is made from C2 carbide and uses TPG432 inserts. It has a TiN coating for increased tool life. The Micro 100 threading tool can be used for both internal and external threading applications. With the proper insert, it can thread a wide range of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, brass, bronze, plastics and more. The replaceable inserts make it easy to switch between thread sizes and types without needing multiple tools.
