The Micro 100 3/8" shank threading tool is a high speed steel insert style threading tool with a TiN coating for wear resistance. It has a 60 degree threading insert that can cut unified, metric, ACME, buttress, and worm threads. The tool holder accepts DCMT/CCMT style inserts and has a maximum depth of cut of 0.200". It is made in the USA and can be used for both internal and external threading operations on lathes, screw machines, and CNC lathes. The tool comes with one DCMT070204 threading insert.
