The Micro 100 3/8" shank threading tool is a high speed steel insert style threading tool with a TiN coating for wear resistance. It has a 60 degree threading insert that can cut unified, metric, acme, buttress, and worm threads. The tool has an overall length of 4" and a shank diameter of 3/8". It is designed for light to medium duty threading operations in materials like aluminum, brass, bronze, cast iron, and some steels. The tool comes with one TPG321 insert which has a nose radius of 0.015" and can cut threads from 4 to 56 TPI. Additional TPG321 inserts are available for replacement when worn.
