The Micro 100 3/8" shank threading tool is a high speed steel insert style threading tool with a TiN coating for wear resistance. It has a 3/8" shank diameter and can cut unified thread sizes from 4-56 to 1"-8. The inserts are replaceable carbide inserts with a TiN coating and have a screw lock design for secure holding. The tool comes with one DGTL-3 insert installed which can cut 60 degree threads. Additional inserts are available for purchase to handle different thread pitches and profiles. The tool body is made from tool steel and has an overall length of 4".
