The Micro 100 3/8" shank threading tool is a high speed steel insert style threading tool with a TiN coating for wear resistance. It has a 60 degree threading insert that can cut unified, metric, acme, buttress, and worm threads. The tool has an overall length of 4" and a shank diameter of 3/8". It is designed for light to medium duty threading operations in materials like aluminum, brass, bronze, and some steels. The tool comes with one TPG321 style threading insert. Additional TPG321 inserts can be purchased separately. This is a high quality threading tool made in the USA by Micro 100.
