The Micro 100 Threading Tool is a 5/16" shank threading tool with a 60 degree threading insert. It has a 0.625" max depth of thread and can cut unified screw threads from 4-56 to 1"-8. The tool body is made from C2 carbide and uses TPG432 inserts. It has a TiN coating for increased tool life. The threading tool has a 5/16" square shank and is 5.5 inches overall. It is designed for general purpose threading applications in most materials. The tool comes with one TPG432 insert. Additional inserts are available for purchase separately.
