The Micro 100 Threading Tool is a 5/16" shank threading tool with a 60 degree threading insert. It has a 0.625" max depth of thread and can cut unified screw threads from 4-56 to 1"-8. The tool body is made from C2 carbide and has an overall length of 3.5". It comes with one DCMT 21.51 carbide insert that can thread a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, brass, bronze, plastics and more. This is a high quality threading tool well-suited for cutting precise internal and external threads on a lathe.
