World Precision Instrument Tissue Forceps, 14.5 cm, 2x3 Teeth

Supplier: World Precision Instrument 503313

Tissue forceps with teeth have a fine tip with teeth for delicate tissue manipulation, such as during ophthalmic surgery or plastic surgery. Laboratory researchers choose these tissue forceps for precision work and microdissection. Choose between a 2x3, a 3x4, or a 4x5 tooth configuration. For example, 2x3 configuration has two teeth on one tip and three teeth on the other tip of the tweezers. The teeth ensure a firm grasp of the tissue, which is ideal for slippery or hard to hold tissues. While tweezers with teeth run the risk of puncturing delicate tissue, you do get a more secure hold. As a general rule, the fewer the teeth, the less likely the tissue trauma. These are available with straight tips. They are 14.5cm (5.7") long and fit easily into your hand for precision work.
