AdipoGen TNF-alpha (human) (multimeric) (rec.) (10 g)

Supplier: AdipoGen AG40B0019C010
TNF-alpha (human) (multimeric) (rec.) (10 g), AdipoGen Life Sciences. Protein. The extracellular domain of human TNF-alpha (aa 85-233) is fused at the N-terminus to mouse ACRP30headless (aa 18-111) and a FLAG-tag. Source: HEK 293 cells. Endotoxin content: <0.02EU/g purified protein (LAL test; Lonza). Lyophilized. Contains PBS. Binds to human and mouse TNF-R1 and TNF-R2. Purity: >95% (SDS-PAGE). TNF is a cytokine involved in systemic inflammation and is a member of a group of cytokines that stimulate the acute phase reaction. MultimericTNF-alpha™ is a high activity construct in which two trimeric TNF-alpha ligands are artificially linked via the collagen domain of ACRP30. Since the MultimericTNF-alpha™ mimics the membrane-bound form (forms oligomers higher than trimer), it is the only TNF-alpha protein that can activate the TNF-R2. For TNF-R1 activation, either "normal" TNF-alpha or MultimericTNF-alpha™ can be used.
