TO901317 is a small molecule agonist of Liver X receptor (LXR), with an EC50 of ~50 nM for both LXRα and LXRβ. The resulting activation increases the efflux of cholesterol from enterocytes, inhibiting the absorption of cholesterol. Provided as 10 mg of dry powder. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter,  PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
