It contains three antibiotics (neomycin, polymyxin B, and bacitracin) to fight bacteria. The ointment creates a protective barrier that seals out germs and helps minimize the risk of infection. It is for external use only and should be applied up to 3 times daily. Neosporin is available in a 1/32 oz tube, ideal for portability. It does not contain petroleum or lanolin.
