The Molecular Devices EarlyTox Cell Integrity Kit R8214 is a fluorescence-based assay for rapid differentiation of live and dead cells using complementary nuclear dyes. The bulk kit is formulated for high-throughput imaging in 96- and 384-well plates and supports a homogeneous mix-and-read workflow with an optional masking reagent for improved signal.

  • Sufficient for ten 96-well plates (approximately 960 wells) or equivalent 384-well plates.
  • Contains two nuclear dyes for live and dead cell discrimination and masking reagent for homogeneous assays.
  • Assay principle based on membrane permeability detection for live/dead identification.
  • Compatible with adherent and non-adherent cell types and high-throughput imaging workflows.
  • Recommended plate types: black-well, clear-bottom plates for imaging.
