Trabectedin D3 (Ecteinascidin 743 D3) is deuterium labeled Trabectedin, a tetrahydroisoquinoline alkaloid with potent antitumor activity. It binds to the minor groove of DNA, blocking transcription of stress-induced proteins, inducing DNA backbone cleavage, and cancer cell apoptosis. It also increases the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in MCF-7 and MDA-MB-453 cells. This product has potential for soft tissue sarcoma and ovarian cancer treatment and is for research use only.
