It is also a very potent inhibitor of the aggregation of human platelets induced in vitro by ADP, collagen, thrombin, and epinephrine. In addition to its cardiovascular and antihypertensive qualities, it exhibits very potent antiplatelet activities. It is also an efficacious agonist of [Ca2+]i.
