6.35mm Tru-Stir™ Stirrer Shaft Coupling, 3/8" Upper Male Coupling, For Use with 3-Jaw Jacobs Chuck. The unique design of Chemglass's Tru-Stir stirrer shaft coupling eliminates the need to use rubber hose or universal adapters to attach your stirrer shafts to overhead stir motors. Coupling incorporates a unique helical Stainless Steel spring permitting up to 1/4 of offset misalignment and 45 of angular misalignment. Coupling is rated for 24 in-lbs of torque without the backlash normally associated with common coil springs. Lower portion of coupling has a nylon adapter with a one piece collar for attachment to 10, 19, 25.4 and 30mm stir shafts. Upper adapters permit the coupling to be used with a standard Jacobs style 3-jaw chuck or motors having shaft diameters of 5/16, 3/8, 12mm, 1/2, 5/8 or 3/4. Adapter is also available for use with CG-2047 flexible shafts having 5/16 end fittings. Overall length of the coupling is 4. Supplied complete with an allen wrench set.
