Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA) with 5% Sheep Blood is an enriched microbiological medium formulated for the cultivation, isolation, and differentiation of a wide variety of bacterial organisms, including fastidious species. Each sterile pre poured 100 × 15 mm petri dish contains approximately 20 mL of TSA base enriched with 5% defibrinated sheep blood, providing essential nutrients while enabling clear observation of hemolytic activity. This allows laboratories to differentiate alpha, beta, and gamma hemolysis, which is critical for identifying organisms such as Streptococcus and Staphylococcus species. The medium supports robust microbial growth and is widely used in clinical diagnostics, hospital laboratories, research institutions, and pharmaceutical quality control environments. Each package contains 10 ready to use sterile plates.
