This product provides Double Strength (2X) Tryptic Soy Broth in a 25mL tube. Unlike standard single-strength broth, this formulation contains twice the concentration of dry ingredients (peptones, glucose, and salts). It is technically engineered for protocols requiring the testing of large liquid sample volumes without compromising the nutrient profile of the medium.The "1:1" Dilution Strategy: In standard microbiology, adding a large volume of liquid sample to normal broth dilutes the nutrients, potentially starving the bacteria you are trying to detect.The Solution: This 2X concentrate allows you to add an equal volume of sample (25mL) to the tube.The Result: When you mix 25mL of your sample with this 25mL of 2X broth, the final result is 50mL of Single Strength (1X) TSB.
