Tris-Tricine BufferTris-Tricine (TT) Buffer has been developed for both non-denaturing and denaturing electrophoresis of proteins, and offers several advantages over more conventionally used buffers. TT Buffer allows for optimal resolution of low molecular weight proteins and elimantes the glycine front often found in gel utilizing TG-SDS and other such beffers. This improved running buffer allows for resolution of peptides as low as 5kD. TT buffer is also excellent for protein electrophoresis where resolved products will be transferred to a nylon membrane. Unlike glycine, tricine will not interfere with membrane protein sequencing. The 10X pack just requires the addition of distilled H2O to make 1.0 Liter of 10X liquid.
