The Grainger Approved Under Floor Electric Heat System is 100 feet long with a width of 14 inches. It provides radiant floor heating for areas up to 100 square feet. The system features a thin, flexible heating wire that is sandwiched between layers of fiberglass mesh. It has an automatic reset thermal cutout and is CSA approved. The heating wire provides 10 watts per square foot and 240 volts. The system can be installed under most types of flooring including tile, stone, laminate, hardwood and carpet. It should be installed with a thermostat to control the temperature.
