The VABM2JBSM/25R25 is a two-channel Vascular Access Button™ designed for mice, featuring a 14mm silicone mesh disk to promote tissue growth for long-term stability. Developed with The Jackson Laboratory, this VAB™ allows for simultaneous infusion and blood sampling or glucose clamping. The closed system uses PinPorts™ to enable aseptic manual access while preventing catheter exposure, which improves patency and reduces evaporation. Mice can be group-housed post-surgery when used with a protective aluminum cap.
