Encompass

This two channel implantable Vascular Access Button™ for rats provides two independent fluid lines yet is the same size as the one channel. Two 3Fr catheters connect to 22ga inputs beneath the felt disk. Color‑coded PinPorts™ (red/white) allow manual access with a PNP3M injector. The tether attaches magnetically aligning the ports with the correct tubing.

For continuous dual access, use a 25ga dual‑channel swivel; or pair one continuous line with a free‑rotating PinPort™ for dosing/sampling.

  • Manual or automated blood sampling
  • Glucose clamps, and bile sampling
The button also works with one‑channel tethers, enabling PK studies using one port for dosing and the other for serial sampling.
