VectaMount™ AQ Mounting Medium is a hardsetting mounting medium developed for use with enzymatic substrates, such as AEC, ImmPACT™ AEC, and ImmPACT™ AMEC Red, whose reaction products are soluble in alcohol or other organic solvents. In applications where aqueous mounting is preferred, VectaMount™ AQ is suitable for use with other substrates such as DAB, Vector SG, BCIP/NBT, Vector Red, ImmPACT™ Vector Red, Vector Blue, ImmPACT™ DAB, ImmPACT™ DAB EqV, and ImmPACT™ SG. VectaMount™ AQ is simple to use, requires no mixing, and preserves the color and clarity of the substrates. Stained sections mounted with VectaMount™ AQ can be stored in a slide box at room temperature for at least 2 years without fading.
