VECTASHIELD Vibrance Antifade Mounting Medium with DAPI offers superior protection against photobleaching during fluorescence-based imaging of cells and tissue sections. It is supplied as an aqueous, ready-to-use formulation with a blue fluorescent counterstain. No sealing is required, and sections may be viewed after only one hour. There is minimal bubble formation, retraction or background development over extended room temperature slide storage. It works well with dyes and other fluors across the spectrum, including those with far-red fluorescence. The refractive index after curing is 1.47. 12-month expiration.
