Thomson Instrument Company Optimum Growth™ Vent Caps use a 0.2um filter to ensure sterility and high gas exchange for your cell culture. These caps are designed for use with Optimum Growth Flasks available in 125mL, 250mL, 500mL, 1.6L, 2.8L and our popular 5L sizes for mammalian and insect cell culture. The modular design of this system allows components to be used interchangeably and assures that small and medium scale bioprocessing projects remain c-GMP compliant. The shake flasks are designed to hold up to 2x more cell culture media compared to traditional shake flasks, greatly increasing shaker efficiency. The Optimum Growth™ System consists of high efficiency standard and specialty flasks, transfer caps and the Rapid Clear Cap for media clarification.
