Steris Corp™ VERIFY™ SCBI Vial Activator Set ensures proper release of growth medium from ampule, and spore disc

• Each Self-Contained Biological Indicator (SCBI) is completely self contained within a vial and contains a disc inoculated with dual species bacterial spores (Geobacillus stearothermophilus, and Bacillus astrophaeus) and an ampoule of specially formulated soybean casein digest growth medium with a pH indicator
• In order to activate the VERIFY™ SCBI, push the vial completely through the restricted space on the base of the VERIFY™ Vial Activator
• The VERIFY™ SCBI is properly activated when the growth medium is released from the ampule and comes in contact with the spore disc
• Use of the VERIFY™ Vial Activator ensures that the spore disc is properly submerged in the media
• Sturdy design prevents premature activation
