First hydrolytic, Class A, Type-33, Reduced Surface Activity, Borosilicate Glass. The MRQ Vials have a fill volume of 1.2ml and a very low residual volume of 2ul due to the center-draining effects of smooth walls (no ledges) and a conical bottom with a well that is slightly larger than autosampler vial needles. Side entry port needles will recover the maximum amount during use. Bottom depths of the wells are designed and QC controlled for the most critical autosampler to prevent needles hitting the bottom of the vials. This is a very popular 1.2ml, center draining autosampler vial because of the consistency of the glass chemistry from batch to batch, vial to vial. Reduced surface activity is tested for each lot and certified. Excellent for low abundance analytes, pH sensitive analytes and for LCMS.
