Vol: 1000mLQty: EAGenePath Dx GTM collection and transport medium inactivates pathogens immediately after collection while preserving and stabilizing nucleic acids, thereby ensuring safe transport. It enables ambient temperature transport and storage. After collection, it can be refrigerated and stored for atleast one week. It is compatible with a wide array of downstream sample extraction protocols and techniques including Qiagen manual and automated systems, Thermo magnetic bead-based systems and the Cepheid GeneXpert platform. It creates significantly lower foaming during automated sample processing thereby considerably reducing the chances of cross contamination between samples. Biological samples such as milk collected in GTM can also be used for microbiological analysis. Useful for pathogens like Mycobacterium tuberculosis and SARS-CoV-2 (RUO)
