Staining Dishes and Covers accommodate slides measuring 75 x 25 mm (3" x 1"), 75 x 38 mm (3" x 11⁄2"), and 75 x 51 mm (3" x 2"). Approximate inside dimensions are 118 mm L x 88 mm W x 70 mm H. Order racks separately. Rack 48585-76 holds 30 microscope slides. Handle is permanently attached, but hinged to permit closure of the dish and easy insertion and removal of microscope slides. Constructed of nontarnishing stainless steel (SS); resists most staining solutions. Rack 48585-78 holds 16 single slides, 31 slides arranged alternately straight across and diagonally, or 32 slides back-to-back. Manufactured from soda-lime glass. Rack 48585-80 holds 20 single slides, 39 slides arranged alternately straight across and diagonally, or 40 slides back-to-back. Manufactured from soda-lime glass.
