WiDr is a cell line exhibiting epithelial morphology that was thought to originally be isolated from the colon of a female patient with colorectal adenocarcinoma cancer. However, DNA fingerprinting has shown this line to be a derivative of HT-29 (ATCC HTB-38). This cell line was deposited by P Noguchi.
