These 9 mm AutoClips are part of the AutoClip wound closure system, which provides a fast and effective alternative to sutures for closing wounds in research animals. The system is ideal for quickly closing skin incisions made for ALZET pump implantations, enabling researchers to streamline surgeries and save valuable time. The 9 mm AutoClips are ideal for use in rats and provide maximum holding force while minimizing skin trauma. The wound clips are easily applied using the automatic, spring-loaded AutoClip Applier (sold separately). After the incision is healed, the wound clips are easily removed using the AutoClip Remover (sold separately). AutoClips are supplied non-sterile but may be autoclaved.[The AutoClip Applier and AutoClip Remover are sold separately, and can be purchased individually or as part of several kits.]
