Description

XF DMEM Medium, pH 7.4 is a DMEM-based medium validated for use with the Seahorse Real-Time ATP rate assay and the glycolytic rate assay. It is also recommended to use for all Seahorse XF assays.

  • Contains no phenol red, bicarbonate, glucose, glutamine, or pyruvate, allowing for full customization
  • XF media with pH 7.4 is also available, simplifying the workflow, saving time for assay preparation, and ensuring consistent results across experiments
  • Contains 5 mM HEPES, and the pH of this medium is pre-adjusted to 7.4
  • To ensure a proper final pH in assay media, Seahorse XF supplements must be used at recommended concentration range
