XF RPMI Medium, pH 7.4 contains 1 mM HEPES, with the pH of this medium being pre-adjusted to 7.4. It is validated for use with the Seahorse Real-Time ATP rate assay and the glycolytic rate assay.

  • RPMI-based specifically formulated for Agilent™ Seahorse XF assays to achieve optimal results
  • Contains no phenol red, bicarbonate, glucose, glutamine, or pyruvate, allowing for full customization
  • XF media with pH 7.4 is also available, simplifying the workflow, saving time for assay preparation, and ensuring consistent results across experiments
  • To ensure a proper final pH in assay media, Seahorse XF supplements must be used at recommended concentration range
  • Also recommended to use for all Seahorse XF assays
