These thermal-transfer labels are made of durable thermoplastic material and designed to adhere to paraffin wax blocks as well as other hard to label surfaces, such as Teflon (PFTE) and Perfluoroalkoxy alkanes (PFA). Waterproof and coated with a strong, extra-permanent adhesive, these labels can withstand exposure to solvents and chemicals, perfectly suited for the identification of paraffin wax embedded tissue cassettes used in histology applications. These chemical-resistant labels will not fade or peel when immersed in xylene, alcohols, or acetone for up to 15 minutes.
