Dihydrocoumarin is a compound found in *Melilotus officinalis*. It acts as a yeast Sir2p inhibitor and also inhibits human SIRT1 and SIRT2. This compound induces concentration-dependent inhibition in enzymatic assays, and increases cytotoxicity, apoptosis, and p53 lysine acetylation in the TK6 cell line.
