The Grainger standard steel strapping is a general purpose strapping made of steel for securing and unitizing loads. It has a tensile strength of 2300-3100 psi and meets military, ASTM, and federal specifications. The strapping comes in various widths (1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 1") and thicknesses (0.020", 0.023", 0.031") and is available in coils. It can be used for baling, bundling, palletizing, and other industrial applications. The finish is bluish-black and it is not recommended for outdoor use. This carbon steel strapping provides good strength at low cost.
