The Bellco Digital CTII Hi-Torque Overhead Drive is a versatile direct-drive agitator for cell culture and most aseptic mixing applications. The Overhead Drives were developed to eliminate the problem of magnetic agitator decoupling often observed in large volume mixing and the stirring of solutions with a viscosity greater than water. Hi-Torque Overhead Drive with interface for use with CellTrol II controller. Pyroceram glass-ceramic stirring hot plates features a microprocessor with digital display that regulates heating and stirring. Consistent and repeatable temperature is maintained from 25 °C up to 550 °C and is adjustable in 5 °C increments. Display blinks until temp is reached and LED HOT TOP icon lights up when top plate is over 60°C and separate temp sensor provides power cutoff if unit overheats.An optional external temp controller is available for inside the vessel and will shut off unit when is not in liquid. Stirring speed range is from 60-1150 RPM. Stronger, larger magnet improves stir bar coupling combined with automatic up speed adjustment minimizes decoupling. SuperNuova digital stirers with Stir Trac offers improved slow speed stirring, consisting speed control and stronger magnetic coupling from 50 rpm up to 1200 rpm. The seamlesss reflective white ceramic top enhances sample visibility and the rugged low-profile cast aluminum body provides stability and durability. The easy-to-read digital displays indicate rpm for stirring models, adjustable in 1 rpm increments. The user programmable preset buttons allow for up to four often-used stirring speeds to be recalled at the touch of a single button. Set points go up slowly when the knob is rotated slowly, faster as the knob is rotated faster. The knob then is locked out to avoid accidental changes. All models supplied with 2" x 3/8" dia TFE-coated stir bar, detachable cord and retention racket that prevents cord from accidentally removed.
