The AL41L4H12 algae chamber used for algae with higher light intensity, and short plants w/ moderate light intensity. Interior/exterior of smooth white galvanized steel with foamed-in-place non-CFC insulation, stainless-steel floor for corrosion resistance. Conditioned air circulates through rear wall plenum, travels horizontally across each shelf; then vertically upward to unit cooler. Four white epoxy coated steel wire shelves adjustable in ½” increments. Self-contained air-cooled condensing unit with hot gas bypass system for continuous compressor operation extends life, ensuring precise temperature control by alternately cycling refrigerant and hot gas to coil; also prolongs life of compressor, and eliminates risk of ice build up in coil. The KB034 is a 32.1 cubic feet extra wide single door environmental chamber. Temperature range is 2 to 50 degrees C. Humidity range ambient to 90 percent. This unit comes with 3 stainless steel shelves. The chamber provides 304 series stainless steel interior and door liner, corrosion-resistant; also a heavy-gauge powder-coated, galvanized steel exterior. The KB series chambers feature hot gas by-pass technology which controls the temperature of the epoxy coated evaporator for greater uniformity. The ultrasonic humidification system provides excellent humidity control and avoids hot spots seen during chamber mapping of steam boiler equipped chambers.
