The mini digital temperature and CO2 control incubators are only 13 inches wide, small enough to fit in most biological safety cabinets, conserving valuable bench space. A thick layer of high-efficiency insulation and a 12 VDC car adapter make this incubator ideal for transporting cells. The unit can maintain set temperature levels within 10% for up to one hour after power has been disconnected. Intuitive control panel and large LED displays allow you to digitally adjust both temperature and CO² percentages and view in real time. The B3600 CO2 incubator is frequently used for medical, animal, cosmetic, food and agricutural research applications such as cell and tissue culture, bacterial growth, and production of enzymes or antibiotics. An ultrasonic humidifier and advanced sensor provides additive humidity (dehum optional). Six stainless steel wire shelves adjustable in ½” increments. Self-contained air-cooled condensing unit with hot gas bypass system for continuous compressor operation extends life, ensuring precise temperature control by alternately cycling refrigerant and hot gas to coil; this also prolongs life of compressor, and eliminates risk of ice build up in coil.
