These precision machined solid aluminum blocks are meant to accommodate micro-centrifuge tubes, microplates and test tubes. Anodized blocks resist corrosion and feature alpha/numerical labeled rows and columns for easy vessel identification. Each block has a well for a thermometer (sold separately) and a block extractor hole.
Block Modules can be used in either an analog or digital dry bath incubator.

Interchangeable aluminum heating blocks provide excellent thermal conductivity and accommodate various test tubes, cups, and plates. Depending on the combination of blocks selected, plastic spacers (36620-67) can be used to fill a half-width recess, ensuring optimal thermal performance. Most blocks come with a separate hole to accept a thermometer. Order a flexi-block to accommodate multiple size tubes, vials, or cuvettes at once. Unskirted PCR plates can be heated in either size flexi-block. Skirted microtiter plates, deep-well plates, and PCR plates can only be incubated in the triple-width version.

The EMS MyBlock series has several major advantages over traditional dry baths. They are the first digital dry baths to include advanced microprocessor controls, timed or continuous operation and a removable hinged lid. In addition, an optional external temperature feedback probe can be positioned directly inside a sample tube, providing real-time control and monitoring of temperature.
MyBlock's transparent lid promotes better temperature uniformity and minimizes stratification in the block by maintaining a warm air jacket layer while reducing energy consumption by minimizing heat loss. The hinged lid can be flipped open or easily removed (lifted off) to accommodate taller tubes.
Universal blocks accept tubes from 0.5 to 2.0 ml and, with just a quick flip to the other side, accomodate 0.2 ml tubes, PCR strips or in the dual block model only a PCR plate. Other blocks are available for tubes up to 50 ml. Without blocks.

Grainger Contact Block Clear 1NC 30 mm HT800
The Eaton 14A138 is a contact block that provides a convenient method of connecting wires to Eaton contactors. It has tin-plated copper construction for corrosion resistance and has 14 AWG wire capacity. The block has a current rating of 30A at 600VAC. It has a standard 0.28" quick-connect tab spacing and is compatible with Eaton contactors like the S811 series. The block measures 1.06" x 1.06" x 0.75" and weighs approximately 0.05 lbs. It can be mounted to the contactor with a single screw, providing a secure wire termination point. The Eaton 14A138 contact block is UL/CSA recognized and ideal for a wide range of industrial control applications.
