Foxx Life Science Carboy Vent Filters are used for hydrophobic venting and solvent filtration applications. The PTFE filter membrane is ideal for maintaining purified water stored in carboys, or for sterile venting during a slow exhaust/liquid autoclave cycle of EZgrip® carboys. All materials comply with USP Class VI standards, and are autoclavable up to 10 times. Hydrophobic PTFE membrane is reinforced with polypropylene housing and features a stepped hosebarb. Available in Non-sterile 1.00µm, 0.2µm pore sizes with platinum-cured silicone tubing, or in bulk packs (without tubing).

205-5002-RLS: Adapter, 83mm, 2x 1/2" Molded In HB. Patented VersaCap is leak-proof, uses a replaceable Pt-cured silicone gasket, and provides the ultimate in top-connection flexibility. Open VersaCap is compatible with a variety of adapter inserts, enabling users to quickly change the top connections of each carboy or bottle to match their application needs. VersaCap offers large finger grips that allow for easy tightening and opening. They are also stackable, and offered in 53mm, 83mm (compatible with most carboys), and 120mm wide-mouth versions that fit exclusively on Foxx Life Sciences 20L, 40L, and 75L EZfil carboys. Quick-connect hose barb options include combinations of two, three, and four ports, with 1/4 and 3/8 hose barb sizes. Molded-in hose barb options are available in 1/8, 1/4, 516, and 1/2 sizes. VersaCap are made from polypropylene, which may be autoclaved at 15 PSI and 121C (250F) for 20 minutes.
