1000mL Filter Funnel, Pressure, Coarse Frit, #50 O-Ring Joint, 90 O.D.. For positive pressure filtration of materials up to 15 psi. Connection between the funnel and adapter is made by an o-ring joint which permits a larger, grease free opening for sample retrieval. The 24/40 lower inner standard taper joint has an outlet for connection to a vacuum source. Complete item consists of a filter funnel, top inlet adapter, Viton o-ring and a CG-150 stainless steel pinchclamp.

Useful wherever filter paper or membranes cannot withstand the chemical attack of the filtrate. Constructed with heavy wall stems and the top of the funnel is beaded for additional strength. Not recommended for use where pressure would exceed 15 psi.

Removable hose barb connector accepts 12.7mm (1/2") I.D. tube and threads into 3/4" NPT bung on the funnel. Perforated filter plates are made of 4.8mm (3/16") thick HDPE with 4.8mm (3/16") perforations on 11mm (7/16") centers. Removable plate is for use in precious metals recovery; use temperature range maximum 52ºC (125ºF), minimum -20ºC (-4ºF).

Removable hose barb connector accepts 12.7mm (1/2") I.D. tube and threads into 3/4" NPT bung on the funnel. Filter plates are supported by a multiple ring grid; HDPE, 6.4mm (1/4") thick, with a non-porous ring at the periphery of the plate which seals filter paper when used with porous filter plates. Medium porosity is 45-90 microns. Use temperature range maximum 52ºC (125ºF), minimum -20ºC (-4ºF).
