Designed for precision and reliability, these Terasaki-style mini trays are ideal for serotyping, HLA applications, microlymphocytotoxicity, cell cloning studies, protein crystallization, and sequencing reactions. Each tray features a specially treated polystyrene surface that enhances reagent and sample mixing, even after freezing and thawing. This surface treatment minimizes antibody affinity, even at high concentrations, and reduces protein adsorption for improved assay performance. With exceptional optical clarity, these trays are compatible with inverted microscopes for detailed analysis. Large, raised alphanumeric markings ensure easy identification, while the wells—featuring an inverted, truncated cone design—offer a working volume of 10µL. For convenient storage and organization, high- and low-profile trays are stackable when used with the included lid, while S-plates can be stacked without a lid.

This gene encodes a phosphoprotein, which is located in the outer and inner segments of the rod cells in the retina. This protein may participate in the regulation of visual phototransduction or in the integration of photoreceptor metabolism. It modulates the phototransduction cascade by interacting with the beta and gamma subunits of the retinal G-protein transducin. This gene is a potential candidate gene for retinitis pigmentosa and Usher syndrome type II. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
