Ideal for use with raised-rim and non-skirted PCR plates.
Alkali Scientific Multi-Seal™ Multilayer Polyethylene Sealing Film, 50/pk
Multi-Seal™ Multilayer Polyethylene Sealing Film consisting of a top pierceable clear polyethylene film and a white polypropylene sublayer with 96 circular areas void of adhesive. The white sublayer aids in the alignment of the film to the plate; alignment of opposing corner wells ensures that all 96 wells will be properly aligned. The adhesive-free zones are 9mm on center to facilitate multi-channel pipetting without adhesive fouling of pipet tips or robotic probes. Offers excellent chemical resistance and is pierccable. Samples have minimal contact with adhesive due to the adhesive-free zones.

SilverSeal CS™ 50 µm Acrylic Adhesive Sealing Film are not recommended for PCR or thermocycling. A single non-perforated end tab simplifies application. Simply hold the tab and strip the backing from the body of the sealing film as it lays on the plate to avoid curling. Dimensions are 82.6 by 132.6 mm, including the single 9.5 mm end tab. SilverSeal CS™ sealing films are certified DNase-, RNase-, and nucleic-acid-free. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Specially formulated for cold storage to -80°C. Excellent barrier properties to retard evaporation. Easily pierceable with pipet tips or robotic probes for sample recovery.

VaporSeal™ features a Hydrophobic Sealing Film, gas permeable membrane with a medical grade, non-cytotoxic adhesive. The porous membrane consists of layers of heat welded rayon fibers. Moisture vapor transmission rate = 4,200g/m2/24hr. Easy-to-pierce with serological pipets and pipet tips for direct sample recovery.

AlumaFoil™ Aluminum Foil PCR Sealing Film, PCR features a specially formulated adhesive that provides an excellent seal to minimize evaporation, reduce cross-contamination and prevent spillage. Universal fit for all plate types (e.g. flat-top, raised-rim and non-skirted); the smaller dimensions and rounded corners result in no plate overhang for robotics applications. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Pierceable with a pipet tip or robotic probe for direct sample recovery. 2.0mil aluminum foil removes easily without shredding or tearing. The conformable nature of foil allows for the visual verification of the seal’s security around each well. Not recommended for long-term storage.

SealSafe ColorTab™ is an inscribed color-coded end-tab that can be removed and pasted into a laboratory notebook while the other remains on the plate for identification. DuraSeal is a durable, heat and solvent resistant stretch film with substantial advantages over common laboratory stretch films. Superior heat resistance allows it to be used for covering containers in boiling water baths. DuraSeal is polyethylene based and free of any adhesives. It resists essentially all organic solvents and caustic agents. The film can be stretched 500-800% before tearing, minimizing the incidence of tearing during stretch sealing. DuraSeal is easy to use without the interleaf paper to strip away. Just stretch the film over a container opening. The film contracts inwardly to provide a drum tight liquid proof stretch seal. The film clings to itself, especially after stretching. DuraSeal cuts easily with sharp scissors or razor blade.
