They are compatible with temperatures from -40 to 80°C, can be autoclaved and are also prepped for reuse with a 10% bleach wash with an ethanol rinse. They also feature black alphanumeric printing for easy reference and two types of resealable perforations (""+"" and ""-""), RNase, DNase and pyrogen free.

The square capped mats are made of thermoplastic elastomer and are suitable for long-term storage. They are molded from a proprietary thermoplastic elastomer for a flexible design, have alphanumeric grid-referencing, and are autoclavable. They are solvent resistant (including DMSO, Ethanol, and Isopropanol), and suitable for UV irradiation and Gamma iIrradiation. 6N required for piercing. The temperature range is −20°C to +55°C.
