Cole-Parmer Hose Barb Fitting, Cross Union, Animal-Derivative-Free Polypropylene, Cleanroom Packed, 3/16" ID; 10/Pk
Use these high-quality PVC-free fittings in biomedical, pharmaceutical, electronic, and other critical-use applications. Fittings are manufactured, double bagged, and sealed in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom to ensure that the integrity is not compromised. An ISO Class 7 cleanroom utilizes HEPA filtration systems to maintain air cleanliness levels of less than 10,000 particles of 0.5 µm or larger per cubic foot.
Easily combine or split fluid flow using cross union fittings. A single barb on each end of the fitting creates a tight seal to keep the tubing in place. These animal-derivative-free polypropylene fittings are radiation stable and resistant to solvents, chemicals, water, strong mineral acids, bases, and other inorganic environments. Not recommended for use with oxidizing agents.

The tubing is a clear, non-DEHP thermoplastic elastomer that remains flexible at very low temperatures, resists twisting and collapse, and exhibits low resistance to compression for low-torque or battery-driven peristaltic pumps.
