Dual Layer PEEK tubing eliminates any concern that a critical sample stream could be contaminated by pigments used to color code the tubing. It looks like any other color-coded tubing at first glance, but a closer look reveals that the pigmented layer surrounds a separate but integrally-bonded inner layer of natural PEEK.

Properly cutting tubing is one of the most difficult tasks in a chromatography laboratory. These Pre-Cut PEEK Tubes are the perfect solution. This Super-T™ grade ( Premium ), PEEK tubing is extruded from virgin PEEK ( Victrex ) material without adding any additives. The broken red stripes are added only to the outside of the tubing, leaving the interior all natural PEEK which eliminates leachables due to color. The internal and outer dimensional tolerances of this tubing is +/- 0.025mm. Color Code: Red, Stripes for 0.005" ( 0.13mm ) ID. Pressure rating: 6100 psi.

This MicroSolv PTFE ( Polytetrafluoroethylene ) Tubing is extruded from virgin PTFE, manufactured exclusively by DuPont. We do not add any additives to the original PTFE material, except for particles for color coding. This tubing is used widely in all low-pressure, laboratory applications including before and after an HPLC Pump. The blue color can be used to identify different lines often used with Mobile Phase Delivery and Solvent Waste Systems. Since PTFE tubing contains "micro-pores" in the tubing wall, which allows a quick air exchange, consideration for for use with degassed and oxygen-sensitive solvents is needed.
