Combining a versatile selection of packed beds and the use of a convenient quick-connect holder, Opti-Lynx provides numerous options for chromatographers for on-line or off-line sample clean-up and pre-concentration. Two styles of holders are available: The Opti-Lynx™ Micro system offers full biocompatibility in the in-line version while the direct-connect configuration threads conveniently into all 10-32 ports. Bed volumes range from 4uL to 40uL along with a wide range of standard and custom packings. Opti-Lynx traps are the ideal tool for optimizing your technique, whether you want to separate a peptide digest from its matrix for further analyses, or prepare a dilute small molecule sample for LC injection without loss of sample. Optimize Technologies EXP2 Stem Trap Kit, 0.17µL, 5.0µm HALO, HILIC
A standard EXP2 Stem Trap Kit includes (1) EXP2 Stem Holder and (3) packed stems. Specialized features, patented technology, precision engineering and state-of-the-art manufacturing make the new EXP2 Stem Trap an unbeatable choice for ultra high-pressure trapping applications. Its slim architecture allows it to easily fit into crowded instrument compartments or to connect directly to tightly-spaced injection ports. When tightened by hand, the EXP2 Stem Trap seals to 8,700+ psi. Additionally, the product can be wrench tightened to 20,000+ psi (1,400+ bar). The unique packed floating stem installs directly into any 10-32 port and automatically adjusts to provide a perfect ZDV connection. The replacement stems are low volume/ low-dispersion, intended for many repeat uses and is available with various bed volume and custom packing options. This product is recommended for nano flow applications.

Make the switch to OPTI-MAX™ for less than ever before with OPTI-MAX™ Conversion Kits. Each kit includes all the OPTI-MAX™ check valve housings and cartridges you need to convert your HPLC instrument. By default, each kit includes our recommended OPTI-MAX™ cartridge, stainless steel/ceramic OPTI-MAX™ (PEEK cartridges are supplied for biocompatible systems). However, if you'd like to substitute an alternate material the kit price will not be affected. These kits contain all the check valves you need for your HPLC pump grouped under a single part number.

The EXP™2 Pre-Column and In-Line Hand-Tight Filters are ideal for protecting small-particle UHPLC columns and systems at extreme pressures. Opti-Max Check Valves are manufactured with ball and seat sets that are individually matched to ensure a lock-and-key fit. This guarantees 3 bubbles per minute or less in the standard nitrogen bubble test. Optimize has also minimized the ball travel distance within the check valve which results in quicker seating and more accurate pump metering. A single OPTI-MAX cartridge is interchangeable across multiple pump brands, and will function in either the inlet or outlet position. The same replacement cartridge will fit into OPTI-MAX housings for pumps made by Waters, Shimadzu, Agilent/HP, and most other OEM solvent delivery systems. This allows you to minimize the number of spare check valve cartridges you keep on hand, and dramatically reduce the cost of inventory required to cover your maintenance needs.
